Júlia Kozáková: Manuša

In the enchanting setting of the renovated historical manor house, whose history dates back to the turn of the 16th and 17th centuries, singer Júlia Kozáková will take the stage – an artist known for her unmistakable voice and remarkable artistic range. Following the Slovak premiere of her latest project Flor nueva on 17 July 2025, performed in an expanded line-up with string quartet, this will be her second concert at this year’s festival.

In Modra, Júlia will present her acclaimed debut project Manuša (2022), which earned her international recognition and numerous awards – including the highest-rated Slovak world music album of 2022 by the World Music Charts Europe (WMCE), a Radio_Head Award, and nominations for the Roma Spirit Award and The Best New Talent Award from the European UpBeat platform. Manuša will be performed in an intimate trio formation, featuring Júlia Kozáková (vocals), Zsolt Varady (guitar), and Ján Rigo (double bass).
