Veronika Vitázková

Born in Bratislava and now based in Vienna, Veronika Vitázková has earned international recognition not only as an outstanding classical musician, but also as a specialist in ethnic woodwind instruments from various cultures around the world. She has collaborated with numerous European orchestras and, alongside her concert career, works extensively as a solo, orchestral, and studio musician recording music for films and video games for companies such as Netflix, Disney+, Sony, Paramount, and BBC. She is currently also performing with Hans Zimmer on his European tour Hans Zimmer Live – The Next Level 2025/2026.

During the concert, Veronika will introduce several instruments – from the classical flute to a variety of ethnic flutes and unique wind instruments from around the world – accompanied by the outstanding Polish harpist Adrian Nowak, laureate of several international competitions. The music will be complemented by stories about these instruments, their origins, and their use in classical music, film scores, and video game soundtracks. Visitors can also look forward to several musical surprises.

The admission fee for the concert is symbolic, and entry is permitted until the venue reaches its maximum allowed capacity.
