This spring, the artistic director of Viva Musica! festival, Janka Kovalčik, represented the festival at three significant forums across Belgium and Germany, providing a unique platform to showcase the festival's vision and connect with industry leaders worldwide.
The tour began at the International Artist Managers' Association (IAMA) Conference in Bruges from April 29 to May 1, 2024. It was followed by the esteemed Arts Festivals Summit, organized by the European Festivals Association (EFA), and the renowned Usedomer Musikfestival on the island of Usedom from May 12 to 15, 2024. The business trip concluded at Classical:NEXT in Berlin from May 15 to 17, 2024, where another festival member, Viktória Šinkorová, joined the team.
These forums brought together a vibrant community of delegates from around the globe, fostering dozens of business meetings, inspirational discussions with top industry experts, workshops, showcases, and a plethora of great music. We reconnected with many old friends and also formed new ones, paving the way for potential partnerships and collaborations for our festival. It was an enriching experience, and we are grateful for the opportunity to be part of such esteemed gatherings.
